Christmas Shopping

Everybody is ready and excited for Christmas. I can't wait! but I haven't bought any presents. I want to find the perfect present that will make someone laugh and smile. I just don't have the time. Or the car. My brother is off at collage and Christmas is different. We use to all go shopping together. Now it's all different. I haven't bought any presents. Not one. :(

Kidnapping Morgan

Around Christmas time last year Ashley, Galen and I thought it would be fun to kidnap Morgan for Christmas.

This sounds strange and weird but it was fun. We made best friend bracelets for all four of us. The three of us planned to kidnap Morgan while she was sleeping late at night and bring her back to my house. We called Morgan's parents to let them know our plan so they weren't alarmed late at night. Invading her house around midnight we creeped upstairs into Morgan's room. She was sound asleep. We attacked her trying to cover her eyes and carry her down stairs. It was really sad/funny to hear her cry for help and not know what to do. She was still half asleep. Finally we got her out into the car but by then she knew who it was. Back at my house our basement was decorated with candles, lights and Christmas wreaths. We gave each other our presents and listened to Christmas music. It was really fun. :)

I went to the Holidazzle Parade and the Macy display yesterday for the first time.  It was a lot of fun.  It helped put me in the christmas spirt. Sitting outside, seeing christmas lights.  I also watched christmas movies. I was glad I went.  It was exciting. :)

My Brother

When we were both really little we would run around the house and play Pokemon.  He also had Yu-Gi-Oh cards which we played with every now and then.  He was one of the few kids I'd play with.  Poking and doing anything to get on his nerves was one of my favorite things to do. I could see why later on in life he started calling me obnoxious. Haa. He found pleasure in beating me up and wrestling.  As we go older we seemed to separate... Only saying hi every now and then. We occasionally said bye as we left the house, but that's about it.  He became a stranger.  Not acting like brother and sister, more like acquaintances.  Time went by. Later on though we started talking again.  All that time in between he thought I hated him.  Thought I was choosing to ignore him.  Little did my brother know, I thought he was the coolest kid on earth.  I wanted to be just like him.  He was my big brother. We started laughing together and joking around.  We became more like the old friends we use to be. Now I see him come home every now and then from collage. He probably doesn't even know how much I miss him.  How hard it was when he left. He has changed a lot.  Grown up.  I smile and give him a big hug as he walks through the door.  His longer hair almost past his eyes.  You can tell the difference by looking at him.  How happy I am to see him!  To know he's having fun. He's the best big brother a girl could ask for. I LOVE YOU PARKER! :) 

What am I thankful for?

Yesterday was thanksgiving and I'm here to say,

What I am thankful for on that special holiday.

There are millions and millions of things I'm thankful for,

One is my family, but wait there are many more.

I love how we laugh and tell funny jokes.

None of us drink diet cokes.

I would also like to tell 3 friends how great they are

Even though none of us can drive a car.

Especially when we tickle behind Ashley's ears.

Seussical

I really liked the play.  I thought it was Amazing!!!  The songs were entertaining and the acting was awesome.  Everyone who was in it did a great job.  I liked the plot too. Good Job to all the actors. :)

New Moon

All of the tickets to the midnight showing in Albert Lea were sold out.  That didn't stop my family and Ashley.  We went to Owatonna instead. 

My dad and I have read all of the books.  We started reading them years ago, before they were really popular.  Way before the movies.  We counted down the days till Eclipse and Breaking Dawn came out for the first time. We love the books! Later on after years of persuasion my dad and I convinced my mom to read the books.  She fell in love with them too.

When my family figured out the tickets were sold out we were all upset.  My dad wasn't very happy with Ashley and I.  He thought two teenage girls would have been on top of things and would have the tickets the day they came out.  We were a little slow.  Ashley and I didn't even know the tickets were on sale.  Haa.  Later my mom checked to see if there were tickets in Austin on sale.  They were sold out there too. Our only other option was Owatonna.  My mom called the theater and left a message.  She also sent them an e-mail.  We waited all day for the theater's response. At 7p.m. on Thursday night we finally got a phone call.  Owatonna had 2 theaters open for New Moon.  They said they would put aside 4 tickets for my family and Ashley. 

We got to go to Now Moon!!!! at Midnight!!!! :)

Football Game

Did anyone watch the Vikings play today? I went over the Hertling's, my parent's best friends, house to watch the game.  They had wings and nachos to eat.  They were taste.  We all sat down and watched the game together.  It was really funny too because Paula would get super mad and excited.  During the game in the first half the Vikings "went for it" instead of punting the ball on their 4th down and missed the down.  Paula got so upset.  She said they had to be spanked.  For 3 minutes straight she glared at us and the TV. Ha, she was not a very happy camper.  In the second half of the game the Vikings scored their last touch down.  We all got super excited! The 5 of us did the wave about 3 times and gave each other many high fives.  We got really into the game by yelling at the TV and disagreeing with the reffs.  This had to be one of my favorite football games to watch! :)

You enter through a stairway.  Dimly lit. Halfway down the stairs there is a door leading outside.  The Joker smashes into the door. 

Walking down the rest of the stairs you see a dead girl.  Something grabs your ankles!!!

You scream turning around in fright.  A dead zombie is just inches away from your face.  She motions for you to follow.  You follow her into a dark room.

Scream's face glowing, staring back at you. Besides that all you see is darkness.

The door closes.

The next thing you know there is a bright light flashing in your face.

Blinding you.

You're pushed out of the room.

A door creaks open in front of you. Then slams closed.  You keep walking.

Someone is taping on the glass of a door.

Another face slams into a window.

Crazy Teachers

The teachers have gone mad! They're piling on the tests this week. I have four tests on tuesday. At least one test on Wednesday and one thursday. Last week was super easy. There were a few projects but nothing hard. I swear all of the teachers planned to have all their tests this week. They're all in hard classes too. I just wish they were a little more spread out. I want to be able to study each one and just focus on one thing at a time.

It's weird cause I actually feel a little different.  It kinda makes church more fun cause it feels like it's my choice whether of not to go now.  I don't feel like someone is making me do things.  It feels more free!  But just cause there's more freedom doesn't mean it's over.  Like everyone keeps telling me... now's when it really starts.

Snow

I know mainly everyone is upset with the snow this week...

but honestly I liked it.

It was one of the prettiest snows,

I've ever seen

It soared down in big fluffy flakes

Nobody had to shovel

It wasn't freezing cold

It was just plain pretty.

History of Knaboobing

So most of you have heard of the sport knaboobing, made up by Ashley and me, (if not see Ashley's blog) but no one knows the history of knaboobing...

Putting an air mattress in the water was actually my dad's idea. Morgan, Galen, Ashley and I were sitting at my dinning room table eating breakfast after a sleepover. My dad came up with the idea that the four of us should go kayaking and pull an air mattress behind the kayak. So we hooked up a ski rope to the back of a kayak and threw the knaboob in the water. There were two kayaks. one dragging the knaboob behind it and one all alone. We traveled across the lake and right in the middle of the lake we decided to trade spots. So we created a flotilla. The two on the air mattress climbed into each boat, while the other two climbed onto the air mattress. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKE! Picture what the cars driving by were thinking! Haha! It was the beginning of spring, bright and early in the morning. They probably thought we were nuts! It was freezing out!

Luckily none of us fell in the water, although after the last switch some water did pour onto the knaboob because it had deflated. The air mattress has a little bitty teeny weeny hole.

Now i know we sound crazy but honestly i thought it was super de duper fun! It was the most fun I'd had in a long time. It was exciting and daring and stupid all together. and when we were done, we came up with the idea to pull an air mattress behind a boat...

Family

This may sound dweeby but i love my family! We're definally different from other families. Sometimes we are all together but mainly we just see eachother around the house. My parents don't make me do any family activities or anything. They've always just let me and my brother do what we want, but not in a bad way. My dad can get super excited about things and when he finds a new project around the house or some new object my familiy needs he works at it forever. He always does everything right the first time. And my mom, she cares about us all so much whether we know it or not. She is madly in love with my dad and would do anything to make him happy. My brother can be a trouble maker at times, but i'll always love him! He is one of the easiest people to talk to and just one of those people everybody wants to know. We can all be crazy and get excited over stupid things. And when we laugh everybody can hear it for miles. But we can also be a quiet family. It's weird though cause we don't notice it at all. Only my friends will point it out to me every once in a while. They tell me how akward it is cause we don't talk. I guess that's just cause we all like to think a lot and don't feel like we have to always talk. It's ok to listen or be quiet for a bit. I prbabaly don't tell them enough but i truely do love my family! I don't know where i'd be without them!

To most people the "cool" kid would be the popular guy.

Music Videos

My friends and I make music videos whenever we're bored. They're fun and fast to make. We choose goofy songs and songs with stories for the music. Taylor Swift is one of our favorite singers to use. Her songs always have a story and are great for making up our own music videos to. We have done ones to Tied Together With a Smile, The Best Day and You Belong With Me. One of my favorites is The Best Day. It starts out where I am Emma's, Ashley's little sister's, mom. Emma grows into Ashley. I am always there for my daughter and in the end she is there for me cause I'm sick. It's kind of hokey and weird but it's fun to watch. And it was a ton of fun to make. We also like using random weird songs like Tarzan and Jane by Toy-Box. In this music video Ashley is Tarzan. I'm Jane. And Emma and Cammy are the jungle animals. It's a fun music video. Emma has some great dance moves in it too! ;) Although our music videos might be lame to some people they were a ton of fun to make and it's fun to watch them too. :)
